An introduction you can make without worrying about it.
The short version: we pay no introduction fees and accept none – so there are no referral economics between us. Your client keeps you. You stay informed to exactly the degree you choose. And if there is no fit, you hear so within two business days.
You are the trusted one at the table. An introduction that goes wrong costs you standing you spent years building – so this page answers the question you're actually asking: is recommending this firm safe?
How to describe us in one sentence, if it's useful: "They act for one side of every table – sellers or buyers, never both – every senior dealmaker has built and sold a company of their own, and your client gets a defensible number before the other side hands them one."
Or test us with a hard question first. A founding partner replies within 24 hours.
Two paths
Introducing an owner who may sell
A private conversation, with you in the room or not. The win-of-wins question. A first view on readiness and options, and – where there is a fit – a written proposal within 24 hours of the first call. Your client is allowed to hear “not yet”. Introduce an owner →
Introducing an acquirer
A conversation about what the acquisition has to accomplish, a first view of whether the target universe exists, a conflict check against our live mandates, and a written proposal – or a straight answer that the assignment is not one we should take. Introduce an acquirer →
Your client does not become our prospect for another service. We sell no fund, no financing and no legal work; we pay no introduction fees and accept none. Your client keeps you.

Exactly whom to send us.
Founders and owners of companies with enterprise values typically €10M–€150M – most of our work has been in software, SaaS, applied AI, tech-enabled services and technology-driven industrials, and we are not limited to them – and, on the other side, acquirers who need a target found, approached and bought. Selected mandates outside the range. Situations we're built for: an inbound offer on the table; a decided seller; an owner comparing sell/hold/partial options; succession. Wealth managers and private bankers: the owner you protect after the exit is the owner we protect before it, and the referral works the same way. If your client doesn't fit, we'll say so within two business days and, where we can, point them towards someone better placed – a referral to us should never bounce back to you as wasted goodwill.

What the first 14 days typically include.
A private conversation, with you in the room or not – your call. The win-of-wins question. An initial view on readiness and options, and – where there is a fit – a written engagement proposal, with the fee structure in writing within 24 hours of the first call. An honest recommendation throughout, which is allowed to be "not yet" or "you don't need us." No pressure applied to your client at any point – that protects your relationship even more than it protects ours.
If the client you are introducing is an acquirer, the first fourteen days look different: a conversation about what the acquisition has to accomplish, a first view of whether the target universe exists, a conflict check against our live mandates, and a written proposal – or a straight answer that the assignment is not one we should take. How a buy-side mandate runs →

We stay in our lane.
We lead the commercial transaction: valuation, process, buyer strategy and the negotiation of the economics. Your M&A counsel leads legal advice, legal risk allocation and the drafting of the agreement; formal financial, tax and technical diligence is performed by the appropriate independent specialist. We work the issues together; we do not substitute for either – we prepare companies for legal diligence and work alongside transaction counsel, and we do not act as anyone's lawyers. The client controls who stays informed, and we keep you inside the information flow to exactly the degree you and the client choose.

Conflicts, answered before you ask.
No acquisition vehicle and no financing arm of our own, and no introduction fees in either direction. On your client’s mandate we act for your client and are paid by your client. The three questions any client should ask any adviser about conflicts, with our answers in writing, are published on the fees page. → Fees & how we’re paid
